Essential Documents for Your New Zealand Student Visa Application

1. Passport Copy

   • Notarized copies of all 36 pages of your passport. If you have an old passport, include copies of that as well.

2. Photographs

   • Four recent photographs with a white background.

3. Academic Documents

   • Notarized photocopies of all academic records.

4. IELTS Certificate

   • Notarized photocopy of your IELTS certificate.

5. Work Experience Documents

   • Work experience certificates, salary slips, salary statements, and Income Tax Returns (ITRs).

6. Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

   • Recent police clearance certificate from your local police station.

7. Family Details

   • Detailed information about your family, including:
     • Name
     • Date of Birth
     • Passport Number and Expiry Date
     • Occupation (for studying members, include class and institution details)

8. Sponsor Documents

   • Copies of Pan Card and Aadhaar Card for sponsors.

9. Statement of Purpose (SOP)

   • A detailed SOP explaining your reasons for studying in New Zealand and your career goals.

10. Affidavits

    • Affidavits on a 20-rupee stamp paper from the student, parents, and sponsor.

11. Medical Report

    • Recent medical examination report as required by the visa application.

12. Liquid Assets

    • Balance Certificates: For the required amounts.
    • Account Statements: For the last six months, with stamps and signatures from the bank including phone numbers.
    • Amounts Required:
      • Single Case: First year = 15-17 lakh INR; Second year = 18-25 lakh INR
      • Couple Case: First year = 18-22 lakh INR; Second year = 25-27 lakh INR

13. Income Proof

    • Income proof documents including ITRs for the last three years, business proof, and bank statements.

14. Tehsildar Certificate

    • Certificate of annual income from the Tehsildar.

15. Property Documents (Optional)

    • If including property as an asset, provide valuation reports and notarized copies of the property registry.

16. J Form / Jamabandi

    • Relevant agricultural or property documents as applicable.

17. Chartered Accountant (CA) Report

    • If required, provide a CA report.

18. Embassy Fee

    • Fee: NZD $430.00 for student visa application.
