Study In Malta

At SHIV KRIPA OVERSEAS, we aim to assist you in preparing a complete and accurate application for your Malta student visa. Please review the following checklist to ensure you have all the required documents.

Documents Required for Malta Student Visa Application

1. Application Form

   • Duly filled in and signed by the applicant.

2. Photograph

   • One recent passport-sized photograph in color with a white background (3.5 cm by 4.5 cm). Please do not staple the photograph to the application form.

3. Passport/Travel Document

   • Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended stay.
   • Issued within the previous 10 years and valid for no more than 10 years.
   • Must have at least 3 blank pages.

4. Overseas Travel Medical Insurance

   • Valid for all Schengen countries covering at least 30,000 Euros or equivalent for all risks (accidents, illness, medical emergencies, evacuation, etc.).
   • Policy must specify the validity period and cover at least 91 days from the date of travel to Malta.

5. Confirmed Travel Itinerary

   • Confirmed travel dates. A return flight ticket may be requested after visa approval.

6. Proof of Sufficient Funds

   • Proof equivalent to 75% of the national minimum wage for every month of study and to cover all expenses (tuition fee + daily expenses) for the entire period of study.
   • Notarized declaration if parents/legal guardian are sponsoring.
     • a) Letter from the bank stating available balance (signed and stamped).
     • b) Last 6 months of original bank statements of the student or sponsor.
     • c) Income Tax Returns (ITRs) for the last 3 years, accompanied by CPC acknowledgment (verified).
     • d) Affidavit of Sponsorship.

7. Original Letter of Acceptance

   • From the educational institute in Malta, including:
     • Course dates
     • Cost
     • Duration
     • Course title
     • Contact hours per week
     • Amount of credits awarded
     • Confirmation of acceptance and interview details
     • Monthly rent and accommodation address if provided.

8. Course Details

   • A copy of the timetable and a schedule of lessons for each month of study.

9. Proof of Accommodation

   • For the first six months or duration of the course:
     • i) Confirmed hotel booking
     • ii) Signed lease contract
     • iii) ‘Declaration of Proof’ signed by the invitee with a copy of their Malta ID card or passport and supporting documents.
   • If traveling to multiple Member States, proof of accommodation in each country is required.

10. Proof of Payment

    • For the course fees:
      • i) Up to €1,000: Original receipt covering full payment.
      • ii) More than €1,000 but less than €2,500: Original receipt covering at least 75%.
      • iii) €2,500 or more: Original receipt covering at least 50%.

11. Original Educational Certificates

    • Apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs of the issuing country plus photocopies. Original will be returned with passport.

12. Passport Bio Page

    • Original and photocopy of the passport bio page only.
