Study In Lithuanian

1. Completed Application Form:

   • Fill out and sign the application form online at Visa Application System.

2. Valid Travel Document:

   • Valid for at least 3 months longer than the requested visa.
   • Must contain at least 2 blank pages.
   • Issued within the last 10 years.

3. Passport-Size Photo:

   • Recent (taken no earlier than 6 months ago).
   • Size: 3.5 x 4.5 cm.
   • Face should occupy 70-80% of the area, from chin to upper head should be 31-36mm.

4. Travel Medical Insurance:

   • Covers repatriation, urgent medical attention, emergency hospital treatment, or death.
   • Valid for the entire Schengen area and the duration of stay.
   • Minimum coverage of EUR 30,000.

5. Flight/Travel Reservations:

   • Provide flight or travel reservations or other proof of intended transport.

6. Letter of Mediation:

   • From the inviting institution, enterprise, or organization in Lithuania.
   • Submit electronically via the Information System of Electronic Services. The mediation letter will have a number to indicate upon arrival at the VAC.

7. Letter of Admission:

   • Issued by the higher education establishment in Lithuania.

8. Proof of Financial Means:

   • Personal bank account statement or regular income (e.g., scholarship document).
   • Sufficient funds for living (0.5 of the minimum monthly wage per month – EUR 277) and for return (1 minimum monthly wage – EUR 555).

9. Proof of Pre-Payment of Studies:

   • If applicable.

10. Proof of Accommodation:

    • Document from accommodation provider, campus residence reservation, or other proof of accommodation for the entire stay. If indicated in the Letter of Mediation, this document is not required.

11. Additional Documents:

    • If Employed:
      • Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC).
      • Employment letter stating the days of leave.
      • Certificates (diploma) of previous studies.
    • If Business Owner:
      • Certificate of Business Incorporation.
      • Proof of commercial activities (e.g., bills of lading).
      • Statement of taxes payment.
      • Certificates (diploma) of previous studies.
    • If Scholarship-Holder/Student:
      • Letter from school or university confirming status.
      • Valid student certificate.
      • Transcripts and certificates of previous studies.

12. For Non-Nigerian Nationals:

    • Proof of legal residence in Nigeria (e.g., residence permit, long-term visa), valid for at least 3 months after planned return.
    • If not a resident, proof of legal presence in Nigeria.

Important Notes:

• Visa applications are generally concluded within 15 calendar days, but can extend up to 30 or 60 days.
• The embassy may request additional documents or call for an interview.
• Visa application fee is non-refundable.
• Documents must be up-to-date and submitted at least one week before the application date.

Acknowledgment:

• I acknowledge that my visa application is submitted 15 days before my planned entry into the Schengen Zone, and it may not be concluded until my travel date.
