Study In Hungary

1. Passport:

   • Must have at least 2 blank pages (without stamps).
   • Valid for at least 3 months after the expiry date of the requested visa, and not older than 10 years.
   • Non-Jordanian applicants must provide a legal residence permit valid for at least 1 month after the return date of the intended trip.

2. Application Form:

   • Duly completed and signed.
   • Include the full address of the host/hotel.
   • Minors:
     • If traveling with one parent, a signed authorization letter from the other parent (duly legalized), along with a copy of the parent’s ID/passport.
     • If traveling alone, both parents must provide a signed authorization (duly legalized), along with a copy of their ID/passport.

3. Passport-Size Photo:

   • Recent (not older than 6 months).
   • Clear, well-defined, taken against a plain white background without glasses.

4. Travel Insurance:

   • Covering all Schengen countries with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000.

5. Round-Trip Flight Ticket Reservations:

   • No confirmed booking is required, just a reservation.

6. Hotel Booking/Proof of Accommodation:

   • If staying at an inviting person’s accommodation or a rented apartment, approval of the landlord + passport/ID copy of the landlord.

7. Employment Letter/Proof of Business Ownership:

   • Must include an official English translation.

8. Company’s Certificate of Registration:

   • Must include an official English translation.

9. For Students:

   • School/University letter of enrollment (with official English translation).

10. Family Booklet (If applicable):

    • Must include an official English translation.

11. Business Invitation:

    • Must include the company name, full address, postal code, phone number, email address, name of the inviting person, signature, and date of invitation.
    • If applicable, specify the expense and cost sponsor.

12. Invitation from Family Member/Friend:

    • Preferably an official invitation letter obtained from the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing, OR:
      • ID/passport of the inviting family member or friend.
      • Copy of the lease contract AND approval letter from the landlord AND passport/ID copy of the landlord.
      • Copy of residency in Hungary/copy of address card.
      • If the inviting person is a student, include a copy of the university ID, active student status, letter of acceptance, or letter of award.

13. Medical Invitation:

    • Medical report from Jordan and a medical invitation from Hungary (doctor/hospital).

14. Proof of Family/Financial Ties to Home Country.

15. Proof of Finance for All Costs Relating to the Trip:

    • E.g., signed letter of guarantee and signed ID/passport copy of the person financially responsible for the trip.

16. Bank Statement:

    • Original, from the last 6 months (in English).

17. Copies of Previous Schengen Visas or Other Visas (If applicable).

Important Notes:

• All documents should preferably be presented in original and in English. Originals will be handed back after verification.
• Applications should be submitted at least 14 working days before the expected date of departure.
• The Embassy of Hungary reserves the right to request additional documents or call the applicant for an interview.
